Introduction

Having played bass and piano with a number of hip beat combos over the years, maturity has brought a more sedate approach to making music. Everything is now solo and produced in my project studio. The studio is centred around an Intel based DAW running Sonar Pro recording software.

Equipment and instruments include:

Echo Layla 3g digital recording interface
Samson preamps and microphones
Shure, SM, and Sennheiser microphones
Yamaha AW16G mobile 16 track recorder and mixer
Fender fretless Jazz bass
Yamaha P-80 stage piano
Line6 Variax 500
In-house built monitoring system using AH DAC, EL34 SE amplifier with Ariel6c speakers + tannoy red nearfields
